THIS WEEK ON PEOPLE PROFILE: JEANE RUSSELL NATHAN

je2

This week’s guest on People Profile  didn’t seem to quite fit into most categories. I didn’t put her into ‘celebs’, because I wanted to include stories of people who aren’t that famous but have had an interesting experience, although related to business/philanthropy it doesn’t really fit into that category either based on the information that I have gathered. It’s about how interesting we have found the work of Jeane Russell Nathan.

So yes! This week’s story has captivated, intrigued, and inspired us.

What interested me most was actually how she had such a sweet, innocent view of the world and attitude to other people, and also the fact I believe she is an extremely intelligent and gifted human being. Therefore this week on People Profile we welcome Jeane Russell.

Dr. C

Welcome to People Profile Jeane, please tell us, who is Jeanne Russell?

Jeane Russell Nathan

Thanks for the opportunity Dr. C, Jeane Russell is an honest assertive goal inspired business woman who possess a degree in Business Management, qualified also in Public Relations and as a marketing consultant. An active member with the Foster Care program in Broward and Dade County.

Dr. C

For some strange reason your story has been very interesting. Can you name a person who has had a tremendous impact on you as a leader?

Jeane Russell Nathan

Yes Sir, growing up as a child my adorable aunt Eulie who was an elementary school teacher would often take me to visit for the weekends. I admire her as a leader because of her kind compassionate and understanding ways, a team leader who often stood up for what she believed to be right she’s taught me morals honesty and how to be consistent in everything I do, she gave me my first series of mystery books which were Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys . My aunt Eulie is the epitome of mother Theresa.

Dr. C

Wow! When someone compares you to mother Theresa that speaks volumes. When have you been most satisfied in your life?

Jeane Russell Nathan

For the greater part of my life I have been quite satisfied but after marrying my wonderful husband and creating a balance with my daughter, I have found true happiness with a loving family and have come full circle with my life. Presently this is the most satisfying part of my life I am in a happy place.

Dr. C

That’s nice, family is the most essential part of every person’s life I might add. What things do you not like to do?

Jeanne Russell Nathan

Yes it is Dr. C. Although I am an excellent cook I prefer not to be in the kitchen for more than one hour …lol….It’s torturing! I can cook anything and love to try new dishes, but prefer the quick and easy ones. I don’t like to stand in line at the mall it’s a waste of precious time. Time that I could use to facilitate a need or to assist with something worthwhile.

Dr. C

Yep! No time wasters around here! Lol…Jeane could you share with us a project or accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant in your career.

Jeane Russell Nathan

I have always wanted to be a promoter being a lover of music in all genres I think it’s fun and excitement watching an artist performing live. I tried promoting a few stage shows with the assistant of some prominent people in the music industry, unfortunately they were unsuccessful. I finally decided to operate solo with only a few close friends assisting. The night of the event the result exceeded my expectation I was overwhelm with joy, it was an extremely proud moment, proves that perseverance has its rewards and you can accomplish whatever you want in life.

Dr. C

So you like promoting I see…at first you try and you don’t succeed, GIVE UP! Lol…I am just kidding. What do you do for fun?

Jeane Russell Nathan

I see you have jokes Dr. C? I like to go fishing with my husband on Wednesday nights, bike riding, playing dominoes and listening to Bob James Jazz beats. It soothes my soul

Dr. C

Yes, spending time with your hubby is very important especially as you guys are newlywed. Congratulations again on your union my friend. Is religion important to you?

Jeane Russell Nathan

Thanks Sir, religion is important to me because it helps us as humans to understand our lives and   keeps us centered, it also promotes love, truth, and honest which is important in society.

Dr. C

Your philosophy is solid Jeane, thanks for the reminder. Do you follow politics?

Jeane Russell Nathan

I don’t follow politics due to the scrutiny and public circus ring that’s involved its rather frustrating and annoying to watch politicians make a mockery of each other.

However it is important that we exercise our right to vote, we must vote if we need to make a difference.

Dr. C

Yes voting is a privilege. What is your most treasured possession and why?

Jeanne Russell Nathan

My most treasured possession is a picture of my mother. My mother passed away when I was 16 years old. I treasure her picture because everything else can be replaced. I wouldn’t be able to replace her picture.

Dr. C

Which is your favorite music and your favorite singer/band?

Jeane Russell Nathan

I am a lover of all types of music, although reggae is my favorite I enjoy listening to contemporary jazz occasionally. Beres Hammond is my favorite singer, he possesses this smooth yet authentic soulful sound, he speaks directly to me whenever I listen to his selections of lover’s rock. Beres is my Luther Vandross, keeps me in a mellow mood.

Dr. C

If you were an animal in the wild, what would you be?

Jeane Russell Nathan

I would love to be an Eagle because it is a symbol of power and freedom, in many countries people doesn’t have the right to freedom of speech and that is a privilege to many.

Dr. C

Do you believe a cup is half empty or half full?

Jeane Russell Nathan

I believe it doesn’t matter whether the cup is half empty or half full what matters most is what we do with an half empty or half full cup.

Dr. C

Wow! Wow! And more Wow…was that enough wow? Lol

If you could travel back through time, what single mistake would you correct in life?

Jeane Russell Nathan

No one is perfect Dr. C and so I have had my fair share of mistakes but the lessons I have learnt from my past teaches me to improve on myself in a positive way. I try not to dwell on my past as I build my future by focusing on the present, staying in the NOW.

Dr. C

Absolutely! Who was your hero, as a child?

Jeane Russell Nathan

My mother was the most incredible person I know she knew how to fix everything, she would feed the entire neighborhood and provide uniforms and books where needed although she had seven children of her own. She was very caring honest hard working she, taught me to be resilient and kind, to show gratitude and respect. Life was always perfect with my mom around. She was a phenomenal woman my hero.

Dr. C

God bless her soul. If you won a lottery, how would you spend your millions?

Jeane Russell Nathan

I would build hospitals schools homeless shelters in underserved communities provide better health care for my community including education for the poor so they could service and cultivate in their own environment I would donate to charity, where help is much needed.

Dr. C

If you have friends coming over, what would you cook?

Jeane Russell Nathan

.I would cook a delicious shrimp pasta with vegetables add a garden salad, with a chilled glass of Pinot  Grigio, Sine this meal requires very little time in preparation I wouldn’t have to torture myself in the kitchen for more than an hour which allows more time for  friends to socialize.

Dr. C

Which T.V. program would you never miss?

Jeane Russell Nathan

I really don’t watch very much TV, but when I have time I like to watch Empire, How to get away with murder and Dancing with the stars.
