It is our pleasure to have Michelle as our guest this week on People Profile. Welcome to People Profile Michelle, what do you believe your fundamental calling is as an evangelist?
Thanks for having me Dr. C. The Great Commission..spreading the gospel with love all over the world..to have all understand and know that Jesus is the only way.
What is evangelism Michelle?
Evangelism is spreading the Word of God in all the world and helping people to get saved and know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
What is the gospel?
THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST
Do people need to say a prayer to be saved?
Yes the sinners prayer as you have to ask God to forgive you for your sins and tell him that you accept Him as Lord and Saviour and the you know that He died for you on the cross
What is repentance?
Acknowledging to God that you are a sinner and truly asking Him to forgive of your sins and believing in him and totally turning your life around to live by His biblical principles
What have you done for the unbelievers in your community?
Outreach like donating proceeds from my events to the less fortunate host gospel singing competition, crusade in Jamaica donating to Glenhope home of Safety, Jamaica National Children’s Home, Broward Coalition to end Homelessness and Hope South Florida also every year for the past 5 years we have honored over 800 men and women from all over the world for our B.A.D BOYZ/GIRLZ FOR CHRIST series
What is the greatest danger to the peace of the local church?
There are so many facets to this and it might be very controversial but the greatest in my estimation is the lack of knowledge of unbelievers. We know that our God is Love and He fights our battles so we don’t need to fight physically. I don’t want to sound biased but the taking out of prayers from everywhere and everything which was always proven as the number 1 strategy for peace.
What is the greatest danger to the purity of the local church?
Believe it or not, us the members, mainly the hierarchy we are the example we have been called to shine and whilst no one is exempt from sin it has become too rampant in the body of Christ and we are just not living to our biblical principles
What are your greatest weaknesses as an evangelist?
My mouth…lol.honestly I am not a cookie cutter I talk it straight take it or leave it..it is a weakness only because in my previous life as an auditor me nuh smile when me get bex….lol…pray fe me.
lol…What should I say if someone asks me if I’m a Christian?
Yes, I am a child of God. We know that the definition is a follower of Christ who lives by the principles of the Word of God. Not to just say it frivolously
Is it okay to have sinners who are non-Christians as friends?
What you say.my Jesus came to call sinners to repentance..my unbelieving friends will honestly jump to help quicker than the Christian kindi. I love them because me a de first church and bible dem see and that is why I have to live right aI I do it for them. A good amount of them God use me to help them to get saved…
I see, should believers invite non-believers to church?
Absolutely that’s who we need to preach to.
If God is in control, then why do we need to share the gospel?
We are his mouthpiece on the earth and that is why He came in the flesh and commanded us to do the same.
Does a loving God send people to hell?
Hell yes! No a we send we selves..God has 2 wills. His perfect will, where we listen to Him and LIVE righteously and His Permissive Will where He allows us to do what we want till him say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
What happens to the “man on the remote island” who never hears the gospel?
Good question Dr. C, you tell me? lol..Seriously, Gods creation alone tells us that instinctively there is a higher power…He will make sure that everyone is aware of Him in His own way.
lol…What happens to children and the mentally disabled that die, never having a chance to respond to the gospel?
They go to heaven as they are not cognizant of their surroundings but God speaks to their hearts. It is to be noted that the age of Accountability is 13 ..another controversial topic but hey a suh me feel to.
Do you still party like a rock star? lol.
Caan stop Dr. C, me a de life a de party and Music is another weakness me dance to anything.Me use to drop it fe de worl but now me a drop it fe Jesus..me nuh partial still….im a true intercessor tho i pray more than i dance now…but so often people say if you can become an Evangelist so can i….i can go to a dancehall setting and still shake a little as a support to my friends and it nuh move me. Allan me rooted and grounded and keep it real….Im there and am praying…Allan so you know you have been unanimously nominated as one of my next B.A.D BOYZ FOR CHRIST in July..Thanks so much for this honor Dr Cunningham as im always honoring and not on the receiving end as im also called to empower and encourage others…God bless you and your family, your new grand baby and nuh talk nuh safracy in her ears bout Kobe talk Michael Jordan or Dwayne Wade okkkk..muahhh.
lol..thanks Michelle, I love your positive vibes and attitude. Looking forward to seeing you at the People Profile Awards on June 12th. Walk good my sister.
